
Montevallo City Council
The Montevallo City Council is the legislative body of the City of Montevallo, composed of council members elected by district to represent the different neighborhoods and areas of the city. Together with the Mayor, the City Council is responsible for setting municipal policy, approving the city budget, and overseeing city operations.

Meeting Schedule
The Montevallo City Council meets on a regular schedule that is open to the public:
- Work Sessions: 5:30 PM on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
- Regular Council Meetings: 6:00 PM on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
All meetings are held at Montevallo City Hall, 541 Main Street. Citizens are welcome and encouraged to attend. Check the city website or call City Hall for agenda information and any schedule changes.
