
Mayor's Office
The Mayor’s Office is the executive office of the City of Montevallo. The Mayor of Montevallo is elected at-large by the voters of the entire city, serving as the chief executive and public face of the municipal government.
Role of the Mayor
As the elected head of city government, the Mayor:
- Presides over City Council meetings and works collaboratively with council members
- Represents Montevallo in relations with state government, regional partners, and community organizations
- Provides leadership on city policy, budgeting, and long-term planning
- Serves as the primary point of contact for city-wide concerns and community initiatives
